No Work From Home This Year for Fayette County Students
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)-Fayette County Schools will not allow students to work from home this winter. Last year, about 40 of Kentucky’s 173 school districts allowed students to work from home on snow days to prevent having to make those days up.
This year, fayette schools have announced they will not take part in the program because they are concerned special education students and english as a second language students will not have the resources they need at home.
Superintendent Manny Caulk says going forward he wants to learn how other districts are addressing those students’ needs.
