Nicholasville Firehouse Subs gives back to first responders
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Nicholasville Firehouse Subs celebrated its 10-year anniversary by giving back to its first responders.
All day Monday, owners Don and Matt Roe are treating all police officers, firefighters, active military personnel and EMTs to a free medium sub, chips and a drink.
It’s part of a company-wide effort by the Firehouse Public Safety Foundation which has donated more than 100,000 meals across the country since the start of the pandemic.
It’s also given more than $850,000 to the state of Kentucky and more than $260,000 to help in the Lexington area.
