New restaurant benefits local charity
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A new restaurant will open its doors at 4 p.m. Monday to benefit a local charity in Lexington.
Sedona Taphouse is a new restaurant located at 3600 Palomar Drive off Harrodsburg Road.
The restaurant is owned and operated by Eric Farber.
The grand opening benefits the local charity The Nest- Center for Women, Children, and Families.
“The Nest” became an organization in 1977. It once operated as two individual organizations, the Lexington Child Abuse Council and the Women’s Center of Central Kentucky.
The organization provides services for child care, crisis care management, domestic violence and counseling support, in addition to parent education.
Sedona Taphouse is also offering a special promotion called “Steak Out For The Charity,” in which guests can get a signature steak for $7. That promotion starts September 3rd and it is only offered on Mondays
This Thursday is “Heroes Appreciation Day.” Sedona Taphouse will be offering a free flatbread to all active or retired military police, firefighters, teachers, 911 dispatchers, nurses, and EMS personnel.
All proceeds from the grand opening will go directly to The Nest.
