New mayor urges Lexington to keep dreaming big in inauguration address

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A new Lexington mayor was inaugurated Sunday.

Mayor Linda Gorton was sworn into office Sunday afternoon along with 15 members of the Urban County Council.

The inauguration ceremony took place at Gatton Student Center on UK’s campus.

In her speech, the new mayor said she wants Lexington to keep dreaming big.
