New appointments and designations made to KY Boards and Commissions
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- Gov. Matt Bevin appoints and designates 7 new members to the Kentucky Boards and Commissions.
The Commission is made up of seven members including the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, who serves as chair, two members of the KY Bar Association, and four members appointed by the Governor.
The following appointments and designations have been made:
Susan Moss has served as as vice president of corporate communications for Kindred Healthcare since 1996 and has been designated as Chair of the Waterfront Development Corporation Board of Directors.
Dr. Jeffrey L. Pumphrey, an equine veterinarian, has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners.
Margaret Wheeler Meredith is a certified public accountant and has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists.
Michael Daron Britain is a professional firefighter with Louisville Fire and has also been a volunteer firefighter for 10 years.
He has been appointed to the Commission on Fire Protection Personnel Standards and Education:
Anthony Ray Hatton is a geologist and the deputy commissioner for the Kentucky Department of Environmental Protection and has been appointed to the Kentucky Water Well Certification Board
Kenny Davis Jr., Debra Reardon, Timothy Janes and Jeremy Dixon have been appointed to the Judicial nominating Commission for the 25th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky.
Kenny Davis Jr. is the pastor of Bethel Baptist Church.
Debra Reardon is the loan fund administrator for the Mountain Association for Community Economic Development.
Timothy Janes is the executive director of Rose Mary C. Brooks Place.
Jeremy Dixon is a salesman and marketer with Campus Chrome.
