National Weather Service confirmed an EF1 Tornado in Boyle County.

LEXINGTON, KY (ABC 36)- The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down 5 miles southwest of Danville in Boyle County.

Tuesday night’s storm was responsible for significant damages to various structures, including a barn that was destroyed.  Remnants of the barn could be seen scattered in a nearby pasture.

Our very own Kelsi Thorud spoke with residents who were directly impacted by this tornado.  Tamme remarked “Our whole house was shaking. I thought it was going to blow away”.
