Names of officers injured in pursuit in Knox Co. last week released

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- There is an update on a story we told you about last week where a man was taken to jail following a pursuit in Knox County. You can read that story here.

State police say Deputy Mikey Ashurst and Constable Brandon Bolton were the two injured in the pursuit.

They say Constable Bolton suffered a broken hand and Deputy Ashurst suffered minor injuries to his hand.

KSP says Deputy Ashurst was the officer that fired shots into the pickup truck during the pursuit. No one was hit when shots were fired.
