Multiple neglected animals found at Winchester home

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) -The Clark Co. Animal Shelter says they have received multiple animals after a neighbor called in an animal welfare check at a home in Winchester on Friday.

The shelter says Winchester Police went to the home on Melbourne Street, and found 11 dogs, 2 rabbits, and an unknown number of cats outside the home.

According to the shelter, the house was in unlivable condition.  It is unknown if the house is occupied by anyone at this time.

The Clark Co. Animal Shelter is caring for the animals, and is asking the public for help with the sudden new arrivals.
