Multi-vehicle car crash shuts down I-75 southbound

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) — I-75 southbound back open after being partially shut down due to a multiple vehicle crash on Friday night.

According to police, officers were dispatched around 6:45 p.m. to mile marker 99 on I-75 southbound for a crash involving multiple cars.

Upon arrival, officers found four vehicles that had been involved. Officials say that one vehicle fled the scene.

Officials say multiple victims were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
