Multi-county car chase ends in crash in Woodford County

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A suspect accused of leading deputies on a multi-county chase was taken to the hospital this weekend after ending the chase in a car crash.

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office says a captain tried to pull Jaymes Miller from Lexington over Friday night around 11:45 for traffic and equipment violations.

Miller reportedly wouldn’t stop and kept driving east on the Bluegrass Parkway into Woodford County.

Deputies say Miller crashed at exit 33.

He was taken to UK Hospital.

Deputies say in the car they found a gun and what they think might be meth.
