Mt. Sterling officials: Stay off roads
MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Montgomery Co. Office of Emergency Management and the Mt. Sterling Police Department are asking everyone to stay in their homes and avoid any non-essential travel for the next 24 hours.
Officials say county, city, and state road crews are working to clear roadways, while the Montgomery Co. Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery Co. Fire/EMS and the Mt. Sterling Police Dept. are responding to requests for assistance as quickly as possible.
If you need assistance, call the Montgomery Co. 911 Center at 859-498-8720. Do not call 911 for road condition reports or non-emergency requests.
