MSU’s “new” head coach says leading Eagles “a dream come true”

MOREHEAD, Ky. (WTVQ) – Preston Spradlin’s dream has come true.

The newest men’s basketball coach at Morehead State is no longer the interim and has a 4-year deal to put the Eagles back on the map.

The winningiest OVC postseason program is rich in tradition and history.  Spradlin knows that.

He’s already working hard to get the Eagles back to the promised land.

Spradlin’s Kentucky through-and-through.  From Betsy Layne to Alice Lloyd and UK to Johnson arena.

Spradlin is the youngest division one hoops head coach at 30 years old.  He’s working for a man, Brian Hutchinson, who was at one-time the youngest DI athletics director when he took over MSU at 30.

So it’s a nice fit.

Hear from both Spradlin and Hutchinson in the video.
