Mount Sterling gets emergency road money

MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (WTVQ) – The City of Mount Sterling will receive $57,000 in Municipal Road Aid emergency funds for a drainage structure on North Magnolia Drive (CS 1109) just south of Tamarix Drive over a branch of Hinkston Creek, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The new drainage structure is designed to make the city street safer for cars, school buses and other vehicles that rely upon the road. The City of Mount Sterling will do the work.
