Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries in crash in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Outbound Tates Creek Road in Lexington was temporarily shutdown Wednesday night after a motorcycle crash that left a man with life-threatening injuries, according to Lexington Police.

Investigators say the motorcyclist was outbound on Tates Creek Road when he hit a curb, lost control and crashed at Montclair Drive around 9:22 p.m.

The victim’s name wasn’t released.

The Lexington Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) was called to the scene to investigate the accident.

Police could not estimate when outbound Tates Creek Road would reopen.
