Motorcyclist killed in Pulaski County collision

UPDATE: A second person has died in the crash that happened on Friday.

According to the Commonwealth Journal, 52 year old Michele Cahill and James Burton died after a van collided with their two motorcycles.

Burton died on scene and Cahill was airlifted to a nearby hospital where she died from her injuries.

No charges have been filed.


EUBANK, Ky. (WTVQ) – A motorcyclist was killed Friday night in a collision in Pulaski County, according to the Commonwealth Journal.

The victim’s name wasn’t immediately released.

The report says the collision involved a van and two motorcycles.  Investigators say there were two people on each motorcycle.  At least two of the people on motorcycles were expected to be airlifted from the scene, according to the report.

The newspaper reports the accident happened on US 27 near the intersection of KY 1247 in Eubank around 7:00 p.m.

Sheriff’s deputies were reconstructing the accident.

Traffic was detoured around the accident scene on US 27.
