Motorcycle crash snarls traffic on I-75 in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Drivers headed south on I-75 through Fayette County on Friday evening were delayed after lanes were temporarily closed due to a motorcycle crash, according to Lexington Police.

Investigators say two people on a motorcycle crashed in the southbound lanes around mile marker 118 just before 7:00 p.m.

Police say both people on the motorcycle were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  No names were released.

At one point, traffic was backed-up all the way to neighboring Scott County.  All lanes were reopened by 8:25 p.m.
