Mother Charged with Arson and Attempted Murder
The Lexington Fire Department thinks differently.
Hill was charged by fire investigators on Monday with arson and attempted murder, for a fire in her home at the Circle View Apartments on Lexington’s north side on September 13th.
Investigators could not give specifics into the case, but say her story of sleep walking doesn’t add-up.
Hill and her young son escaped the fire thanks to a dispatcher who guided her out.
Hill’s son was not harmed, but investigators said on Monday that the child had been given an overdose of some type of medication at the time of the fire.
The fire department did not specify what kind of medication or how much.
Investigators say Hill has been cooperative throughout questioning.
