Morgan County stolen vehicle recovered

SAYLERSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A truck reported stolen last week in Morgan County has been found, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s office.

The Sheriff’s office says Elliot Motors in Ezel, Ky filed a report that a year 2000 red Chevrolet pickup truck taken from their lot.

The Morgan County and Magoffin County Sheriff’s Offices held a joint investigation to locate the missing vehicle.

The Sheriff’s office says after a five day search, the truck was found on Little Pricey Road in Saylersville.

30-year-old Michael J. Barnett of Saylersville was charged with theft, according to the Sheriff.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the case.
