Morehead State Rolls Past Asbury 120-77

MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) – Treshaad Williams scored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Morehead State to an easy 120-77 win over NAIA Asbury on Wednesday night.

Williams finished a perfect 12 of 12 from the field and led six Eagles in double figures. All 11 Eagles scored at least five points. DeJaun Marrero finished with 16 points and 10 boards, while Lamontray Harris and Ty’Quan Bitting each added 15 points for Morehead State (4-9). Harris had a game-high 14 boards.

Morehead State made 52 field goals and had 26 assists. The Eagles blitzed Asbury on the boards, winning the rebounding battle by 33 (76-43).

Austin Kindred scored 16 points to lead Asbury. Daulton Peters added 14.

Morehead State led 59-47 at the break and stretched its lead past 20, 77-56, on a Jordan Walker layup with 12:59 left. Asbury never got back within that mark.
