UPDATE: More arrests made in the murders of two teens in Winchester

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Winchester police say they have arrested three suspects in the shooting deaths of two teenagers late Tuesday night.

Police took 18-year-old Mikaela Buford, 24-year-old Denzel Hill and 22-year-old Darian Skinner into custody.

They were charged with murder Wednesday morning.

According to the arrest citation, Hill, Skinner and another male suspect were driven to the Washington Street Apartments by Buford.

Winchester Police say the three men got into a gunfight at around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

According to Investigators, shots were fired in the parking lot where two 16 year old girls were hit.

The citation says Buford then drove one of the men away from the scene.

When police arrived, they say they found one victim dead in the parking lot. Another victim was found at the scene and rushed to the hospital where police say she died.

The Clark County Coroner has identified the victims as Kayla Holland and Adrianna Castro, both 16.

Police say they are continuing to interview witnesses.

All suspects are scheduled to appear before a Clark County Judge Wednesday at 1 p.m.
