Monoclonal antibody infusion clinic temporarily closing due to shortage

CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Baptist Health Corbin is closing its monoclonal antibody infusion clinic due to a shortage of the medication.

According to a social media post made by the hospital, a new shipment is expected and the clinic will reopen when it arrives.

According to Governor Andy Beshear, Kentucky hospitals are being affected by a national shortage of monoclonal antibody treatments.

Governor Beshear says Kentucky will only receive 4,960 doses this week, even though more than 5,000 doses were administered last week.
