Mom accused of hiding meth on her child

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Boyle County mother is accused of hiding part of her drug stash on her child when she was pulled over by a deputy.

The Boyle County Sheriff says the deputy stopped a car being driven by 37-year-old Tonya Davis of Willisburg near the Super 8 Hotel in Danville on Thursday.

The sheriff says Davis’ 15-year-old child was also in the car with her.

During the investigation, a K9 unit was brought in and found crystal methamphetamine that was individually packaged, marijuana, pills, and drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff.

The sheriff also says Davis told her child to put some of the meth in their pants pocket as the car was being pulled over.

Daivs is in the Boyle County Detention Center. Her child was released to family members.
