Miss Kentucky takes part in special pancake fundraiser

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Miss Kentucky, Ramsey Carpenter, was among those helping out with a special pancake fundraiser Tuesday in Lexington.

As part of National Pancake Day, International House of Pancakes offered customers a free short stack of pancakes. The annual campaign benefits the Children’s Miracle Network. Since the pancakes were free, customers were urged to make a donation.

The Lexington restaurant was one of 6,000 IHOPS across the nation taking part in the fundraiser. The money raised here will go to The Kentucky Children’s Hospital.

IHOP says the event has raised $16 million in ten years.
