Minor hospitalized after shooting in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) — Police are searching for a suspect after they say an underage boy was shot in Bowling Green Sunday night.

According to WBKO, police were called to Moonlite Avenue around 8:30 last night.

Police say when they arrived, they found a boy there who had been shot.

They say they recovered the weapon involved in the shooting.

According to police, the victim was taken to the hospital and was being transferred to a hospital in Nashville.

Police say the suspect is also a minor and still at large.

They say they won’t release their identities because of their ages.
