Minivan Hits Lexington Home, Driver Runs

A minivan hit a home in Lexington early Monday morning.
Witnesses said the driver jumped out of the minivan and ran off after striking the home on Chinoe Road just before 1:30 a.m.
Firefighters said the minivan hit the front of the home, pushing in a window slightly and causing a crack.
Police said the homeowners were in a back bedroom asleep at the time and were not injured.
Since there was no major structural damage, firefighters said they are allowed to stay in the home but electricity was shut off at the home.
