Midway passes fairness ordinence

MIDWAY, Ky. (WTVQ) –On Monday, Midway became the 8th city in Kentucky to pass a fairness ordinance to prevent employment discrimination against people for their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Over 50 people were in attendance on the afternoon meeting, and officials say the ordinance passed with a 4-2 vote in favor.
