Meth lab found in Whitley Co.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Whitley County Sheriff is asking for information from the public about a meth lab found in the 1400 block of HWY 1804.

The Sheriff says a tip about the lab came into his office around 10:30 p.m. on October 4.

When deputies went to investigate, they found the lab near an abandoned car.  No one else was around, according to investigators.

The Sheriff is asking anyone with information to call his office at (606) 549-6017.

KSP and Special Investigations destroyed the material, saying there were two one-step labs, along with three other devices used in the manufacture of meth at the location.
