Mercer County student accused of making bomb threat

HARRODSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police have charged a student with terroristic threatening after a bomb threat was reported in Mercer County.

The Harrodsburg Police Department says they were called to the Mercer County Schools’ bus garage Wednesday evening after receiving a report of a bomb threat.

Roads in the area were blocked for almost an hour as police investigated.

Authorities say the student who made the threat was released to parents, as directed by a county court designated worker.
