Mercer County Man Arrested In Hit-And-Run Accident

Harrodsburg Police said Timothy Stratton, 32, of Salvisa, was driving under the influence when he collided with a vehicle Thursday night in Harrodsburg, drove off, almost collided with a police cruiser before ending up in the middle of a field.

Stratton was taken to the Boyle County Detention Center where he was booked on several charges, including wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with aggravating circumstances, according to Harrodsburg Police.

Investigators said the man who was in the vehicle that Stratton reportedly hit, John Campbell of Harrodsburg, was treated and released from the hospital with minor injuries.
