Mercer County Fire Department mourns loss of firefighter

MERCER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Mercer County Fire District says they are the mourning the loss of one of their own.

The department says District 5 Chief Terry Smith died Thursday morning.

The department says he will be greatly missed in many capacities. The members of Mercer Co. Fire District will all proudly carry on in his honor.
