Men cut and robbed in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say two men not only lost their money, they were also cut during a robbery Thursday morning in Lexington.

Those victims were walking on American Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. when police say they were approached by another man.

He pulled a knife on them and demanded money.

During the robbery, one of the victims suffered a cut on the abdomen and the other on the arm.

The cuts were minor according to police.

They are still searching for the suspect.
