Manhunt underway for suspect in Knox County shooting; armed and dangerous, deputies say
KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Department is actively searching for a man wanted in connection with a shooting in the Stinking Creek community.
According to a release from the sheriff’s office, 42-year-old Daniel Edwards is being sought following the incident, which happened on Thursday, May 8.
Edwards is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing around 230 pounds. He has a shaved head, full neck tattoos, and additional tattoos on both arms.
Deputies warn that Edwards is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is urged not to approach and instead call Knox County Dispatch at 606-546-3510 or the sheriff’s office at 606-546-3181.
