Village Drive shooting victim identified

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -The victim of a deadly overnight shooting in Lexington has been identified.

The Fayette Co. Coroner says the victim is 36-year-old Demetrius Henry.  Police say Henry was found in a parking lot on Village Drive just after 12 a.m. Monday.

He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to the University of Kentucky hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say they have little information on a suspect.

Witnesses say an SUV took off from the scene after the shooting, but they did not see where the SUV was heading or who was inside.

Police say there were no other injuries in the shooting.
