Man shot near Douglas Park

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are trying to figure out who shot a man on Georgetown Road near Douglass Park Sunday afternoon.

Officers say the man told them he was walking down Georgetown Road when he heard four shots, then felt his legs stinging.

According to police, he then walked, with a gunshot wound from Douglass Park all the way to The Hope Center, Google Maps shows that distance to be a five minute trip, by car.

When police found him at The Hope Center, he told them he has no idea where the shots came from nor who fired them.
