A man seriously injured after being hit by a bike

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man was seriously hurt Friday morning in Somerset.

According to the Commonwealth Journal paper, 28-year-old Joshua Burke was riding his bicycle on US 27 in front of the Tradewinds shopping center.

Then just after 9 A.M. 39-year-old Lawrence Morrow reportedly hit him with his ford pickup.

The journal says witnesses told officers Morrow had a green light.

Burke was taken to the hospital in Tennessee with life-threatening injuries.
