Man partially ejected in Scott County crash

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man was partially ejected when investigators say a van rear-ended a car, hit a tree and then flipped along Iron Works in Scott County Monday evening.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office says the man was conscious and breathing when he was taken to UK Hospital in Lexington.  Investigators say the two people who were in the car were not hurt.

Investigators say it was unclear if weather was a factor in the collision, which remained under investigation.
