Man found fatally stabbed at Lexington apartments

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating their second homicide in three days in Lexington.

They responded to a call of a man down at the Walnut Hill Apartments at 3716 Trent Circle at 10:45 p.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, they found a man stabbed and  lying in the breezeway of the building.

The man, who is in his 20’s, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Police say they do not believe he lived at the complex. Officers say they were told the victim may be a pizza delivery driver. However, no pizza or delivery vehicle was found at the apartment building, according to police.

They say they are not sure if the man was robbed before being killed.

The victim’s identity has not been released. 

Police are still searching for suspects.
