Man faces more than a dozen charges for soliciting sex from minors
FRAKNFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Kentucky man has been arrested and charged after being under investigation by AG Beshear’s Cyber Crimes Unit.
26 year-old Benjamin Reeves of Brodhead Kentucky was arrested and charged with 13 counts of soliciting sex from underage children.
Attorney General Andy Beshear and his Department of Criminal Investigations Cyber Crimes Unit arrested Reeves after receiving information that he allegedly attempted to solicit sex from minors.
Reeves is charged with 4 counts of unlawful use of electronic means originating or received within Kentucky to get a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities.
He is also charged with 2 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and seven counts of distribution of obscene matter.
Reeves is being held on $100,000 bond at the Franklin County Jail.
