Man charged with reckless homicide after shooting

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Police in Georgetown are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Friday evening.

According to police., officers were called to the area of Thorndale Drive and Paris Pike for a shots fired call.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male in the vehicle with gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His identity has not yet been released.

Police say Zekial Hofstetter, the passenger in the vehicle, was arrested and charged with reckless homicide.
