Man arrested for two drive-by shootings in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested Joseph Shearer in connection to two drive-by shootings on Roosevelt Boulevard last Sunday.

Police say Shearer shot into a home on Roosevelt Boulevard the first time around 1 a.m. last Sunday.

Police say two people were inside at the time, but neither were injured.

According to police, the second shooting happened around 3 a.m. the same night.

Police say at that time, two people were sitting on the front porch.

Police say one of the two on the front porch was hit, and was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

They say there was significant damage to the home, as well as the home next door.
