Man arrested in domestic violence-related shooting

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man wanted in connection to a domestic violence-related shooting has been arrested.

The Grayson Journal Enquirer reports a man and woman were at a home in the Rush community, when investigators say 64-year-old Claude Quesenberry, of Olive Hill, showed up and shot the man in the stomach.

Authorities later located a Chevy Malibu belonging to Quesenberry in the Louisa area.

The newspaper reports the man’s injuries were believed to be non-life threatening.

Authorities later located a vehicle belonging to Quesenberry, a Chevy Malibu, in the Louisa area. Jail records show Quesenberry was booked at 2:30 a.m. at the Boyd County Detention Center.

The victim’s name wasn’t released.

Quesenberry was charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, according to the paper.
