Man arrested for shooting last week in Winchester
STANTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Stanton Police Department has arrested a man they say shot a woman last week in Winchester.
Stanton Police say they were told by Winchester Police that 25-year-old Clarence Reynolds could be hiding out in Stanton, after a warrant for his arrest was issued in connection to a shooting last week in Winchester.
According to Winchester Police, Reynolds pistol whipped and shot 22-year-old Megan Griffin in the leg back on August 10th.
They also say she was last seen getting into a black Ford Mustang.
Police believed her to still be with Reynolds.
So far, there is no update on her whereabouts.
As for Reynolds, Stanton Police say they found him inside a home in Stanton early Tuesday morning, hiding in a closet.
Police charged him with assault and evidence tampering.
