Man arrested for making threats against Lexington Police

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man has been arrested in Lexington for making threats online against the very people who arrested him.

Lexington Police say last week, officers noticed 37-year-old Shaune Peyton threatened police officers, the Fayette County Courthouse, and the jail on his social media.

Just a few days later, Peyton was behind bars in Fayette County.

He’s been waiting to be sentenced on drug-related charges.

That sentencing is scheduled for later this month.
