Man arrested in connection with Winchester Road shooting

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) — One man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred on Sunday.

Around 2:30 a.m. on March 17, officers were called to the 900 block of Winchester Road and Loudon Avenue for a shots fired call.

Upon arrival, officers found a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to the hospital with reported life-threatening injuries.

While officers were at the scene, a male gunshot victim arrived at a hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives were able to identify and locate the suspect using license plate readers and traffic cameras.

28-year-old Mark Conley was arrested on Friday. He is being charged with Assault 1st Degree as well as other unrelated warrants.

Conley is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
