Man arrested for drug trafficking after traffic stop

MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (WTVQ)- A traffic stop in Mount Sterling Friday night landed an Owingsville man in jail on drug charges.

Investigators say KSP, Mount Sterling Police, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office pulled over 44-year old Robert May on North Maysville Road around 7:30 PM.

KSP says a trooper found numerous prescription medications in the car with an estimated street value of $15,000.

Troopers took May to jail on trafficking charges.
