Man arrested in Brodhead for reckless driving

BRODHEAD, Ky. (WTVQ) – An arrest was made after a man driving a pickup truck was caught speeding over a 100 miles an hour on I-75 in Brodhead, according to Brodhead Police.

They say David Jackson of Lexington nearly ran a vehicle off the road while speeding.

According to investigators Jackson was arrested and charged with driving greater than 26 mph over the speed limit, reckless driving, 5 counts of wanton endangerment 2nd, driving too fast for conditions, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In addition, Jackson had an outstanding warrant from Fayette County, according to officials.

They say he was lodged in the Rockcastle County Detention Center.
