Man arrested after bomb threat in Graves County

MAYFIELD, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police have arrested a man followin a bomb threat at the Graves County courthouse.

State Police say someone phoned in the threat at around 3 a.m. Wednesday to a local crisis hotline worker. That worker called 911.

The worker said a man told their agency he had placed a bomb inside the courthouse.

Troopers went to the courthouse and shut down the roads around the area.

It was determined there was no explosive device.

State Police say they arrested 55-year-old Robin M. Farley, of Mayfield, at around 5 a.m. and charged him with terroristic threatening, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was booked into the Graves County Jail.
