Man arrested for assault with a firearm from last February

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested 21-year-old Dequandre Brown for assault, in connection to a shooting assault from February 2017.

Police say Brown was meeting another man to buy narcotics, when the two started arguing about the price.

According to police, Brown pulled out a gun and shot the other man as he tried to run away.

Brown is scheduled to appear in court today.
