Man arrested after allegedly shooting at vehicles

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A man has been charged in connection with a shots-fired incident that happened Friday night near Liberty rd. and Man O’ war Blvd.

According to Lexington Police, Christopher Lunsford, 44, was arrested and charged with seven counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and three counts of first-degree criminal mischief.

Police say they were called to the area around 9:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers learned that an individual in a truck was shooting at three other vehicles.

Officers found property damage in the area. No injuries were reported.

Officers identified and located the suspect vehicle using the real-time intelligence center.

The investigation is still ongoing.
