Man arrested after allegedly firing gun at Buffalo Trace

FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Frankfort Police have arrested a man that allegedly fired a shot at Buffalo Trace Distillery.

According to police, around 7 a.m. on Saturday, officers were called to Buffalo Trace for a shot fired.

Upon arrival officers located an individual who appeared to be intoxicated on the premises.

Through an investigation and witness testimony officers identified the individual suspected of firing the shot and immediately took him into custody

The suspect, James Ande, is charged with wanton endangerment, public intoxication, trafficking marijuana, and possession of an open container in a motor vehicle.

The Frankfort Police Department is calling this an isolated situation and does not believe that there is any further concern for public safety with regards to this incident.
